Mike Gleason

Creative Cabinetry founder, Mike Gleason, has extensive experience in wood products and construction. He received his chemical engineering degree from LSU and MBA from Duke University. He managed paper mills early in his career, but after building his own custom house in Long Point of the Omni Plantation, he was able to gain exposure to every aspect of residential construction. Mike decided in 2003 to move on from his career paper/pulp mills and start Kempsville Custom Cabinets which later became Creative Cabinetry. The choice to change the name of the company came after feedback that “custom” was perceived as “expensive.” During Mike’s career as a cabinet designer he has worked with countless homeowners and builders finding creative solutions for interior and exterior storage that provide customization and quality. Mike prides himself on being able to work well with all involved in the construction process. He makes the construction process enjoyable and rewarding.

His wife Carolyn, who has many years of experience in design, joins Mike in the business to provide a professional and enjoyable building process.

Carolyn Gleason

Carolyn has also enjoyed other careers. She is a Registered Nurse in ICU at Baptist Medical Center Nassau and is frequently found in the showroom designing and selling. She has worked for over a decade designing cabinetry and brings outstanding customer service skills to the business. Carolyn frequently assists in color/style/texture choices which guide the customer in achieving the dreams for the given project.
